ASUS is committed to take the following approach to fulfill corporate social responsibility and meet the safety and health policies:

  1. Comply with global safety, health and environmental regulations and standards to ensure that labor rights are honored, and to reduce risks
  2. Consider life cycle to create innovative Green products and services with demonstrated competitive advantages
  3. Establish a rigorous supply chain screening system in order to reinforce due diligence in all phases of procurement, while continuing to promote sustainability with supply chain partners Integrate environmental performance standards for organizational activities, products and services, and take action to further reduce environmental impacts
  4. Monitor global climate change information in order to formulate responsive management policies and targets, while also promoting programs that reduce risk s to the environment
  5. Cherish natural resources and reduce resource consumption
  6. Enhance waste and pollutants management to avoid adverse impacts on employees and the environment
  7. Enhance internal management teams and strengthen partnerships for the maintenance and repair of production equipment in order to reduce or eliminate potential occupational hazards
  8. Provide a healthy and safe workplace for all employees, and further develop employee healthcare programs
  9. Establish communication channels that can be easily used by all stakeholders in order to maintain positive interactions and to provide a mechanism for meaningful feedback

Biodiversity Commitment

  1. Avoid engaging operations adjacent to globally or nationally protected biodiversity areas
  2. When operating activities are adjacent to critical biodiversity areas, mitigation measures such as avoidance, minimization, restoration and offsetting will be adopted to reduce ecological impacts
  3. Actively cooperate with suppliers and external stakeholders to implement biodiversity and non-deforestation commitments
  4. Comply with the international or local forestry laws or policies, and follow the principle of Zero Net Deforestation
  5. Actively encourage ecological and biodiversity conservation actions, and respond to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD)

GreenASUS Steering Committee & SERASUS Steering Committee

In order to communicate across the units on key issues such as products, supply chain and organization operations that are highly influential to corporate sustainable operation, ASUS establishes the "GreenASUS & SERASUS Steering Committee". CSO is authorized by the CEO to be the management representative and holds the meeting every 2 months. The members of the Committee come from the business units, procurement department, customer service, administration, legal and other departments. The communication and coordination are carried out across the units, and the resources can be effectively allocated throughout the company. All ASUS people can work together in a consistent direction to combine the sustainability and core of operation to become one of the competitiveness advantage.
