ASUS Global 3C Trade-In Events Set Sail with no Restrictions on Brands, Ten Thousands of Coupons Redeemed in IT month

ASUS is committed to corporate sustainability. By the end of 2018, ASUS starts 3C Trade-In event globally, with a hope that through the power of technology and human care, it will bring more warm influence to society and the environment. Today ASUS announced to cooperate with Intel in IT month to launch a laptop Trade-In event during Nov. 28th – Dec.30th. The public can carry the old laptops in the family of any brand or model to the ASUS booth in Taipei or designated Royal Club Service Bases to redeem ASUS''s new Intel® CoreTM processor series notebooks for up to NT$12,000.

ASUS 3C product renewed activities start from the core value of the "cradle to cradle" of circular economy. Not only including long-term implementation of product front-end design concepts, chemical substance control, easy-to-disassemble and easy-to-recycle design of products and products life end recycle process and management, but a combination with digital inclusive programs. Through the recycling of electronic products, donations, the establishment of digital classrooms and volunteer services home and abroad, ASUS gradually promotes digital education to all corners of the world. At University of Complutense Madrid, Spain, a Take-Back event was held Mid-November, 2018, with no restrictions on brands of any old 3C devices, we collected around 1,000 kgs of e-waste in just 6 days；In Taiwan, a Trade-In event for laptops and mobile phones will be launched soon, ASUS works with consumers together to light up the hope of sustainable development in society and the environment, while also allowing people to easily upgrade their 3C equipment.
